Bah it's been a while since I updated this old block of text. Lots of stuff happened since the last time I typed an entry. How's everyone been?

Here goes:

MSA Event:
We hosted the MSA (Muslim Students Association) event a few days ago in Safa Park. About 50 students confirmed for the event but 30 showed up. Hey good number, I'm not complaining. If you read my previous entries, I was having some trouble getting a lecturer for the event. So we called the Jumeirah Islamic Learning Center (JILC) and problem solved!!! The lecturer was Mr. Sary Farah, a Special Islamics teacher at the Itihad School and a lecturer at the JILC. According to some of the regulars at JILC, he was supposed to be really good. He didn't dissapoint

The event was basically a lecture, followed by a BBQ dinner. We did have some mishaps along the way; like the bus driver coming to pick us up 30 minutes before people finished classes and people canceling at the last minute. Or the bus driver complaining that he had work in Jabel Ali at 6pm and that he had only 30 minutes to beat the 5:30pm traffic to Safa Park via Al Wasl road and then back to Jabel Ali. Eventually we had arrived, argued with the an about pay, and made our way to the location were the event was to take place. Mr. Farah arrived shorty after we did and we had the sunset prayer. The lecture started after the prayer. Topic? "Why incorporate Islam into our daily lives". The man blew the proverbial roof off with his mix of psychology, history, good humour, and philosophy. Students kept asking questions long after the lecture was over. We ended the event around 11-ish (2 hours later than what we had originally planned) and we all went home. Glad everyone had fun

Final week:
Next week is the last week of college. After that we have a week off and then... FINALS!!!
Pray for me people!!! Hope you guys pass your exams as well!!!

NDS roms:
I'm looking for a good site where I can download Nintendo DS roms. Specifically Pokemon Diamond. While I miss my old NDS Lite, I have finally admitted that I just won't be able to afford one again. So does anyone know a good site? Thanks

Youtube hysteria:
HOLY SHIT! People are that bored?! Who the fuck watches 2 Girls 1 Cup OR the BME Pain Olympics final and then decides to upload their reactions on Youtube?! What the fuck?! Are people that retarded? While one Kermit the Frog reaction was kinda funny BUT STILL!!! Oh and for those who don't know or haven't watched the videos should consider themselves lucky. If you're interested on finding out, check Wikipedia first to know what you're getting yourselves into. You have been warned. You will not sleep at night.

Screaming in class:
I find screaming in class in order to shut everyone up so that the lecturer can explain to be quite useful. Does anyone else scream in class?

Sims 2: Apartment Life:
Have I read this correctly? The Sims 2 will have an apartment expansion pack? FINALLY!!! What took them so long to make it I wonder? I've been waiting for apartment living since Sims 2 was released! Hope it lives up to the other expansion packs. And this means it will be incorporated in the Sims 3

Possible Spore expansion packs?
Yep, you've read it. Spore "might" have Sims-style expansion packs. How the fuck can you expand a game like Spore? Here's hoping that you can create fully aquatic civilizations.

devMEET:
There hasn't been a proper devMEET since Ramadan. What gives? Can we have one soon? Like during June? I miss seeing the UAE deviants. Hope you guys are doing ok
